The home site is located on Whaley Street (between Fulton and Carousel Streets), Orangeburg, SC.

Join us to celebrate a monumental milestone as we break ground on Edisto Habitat for Humanity’s
100th Home Block and begin construction on our 100th Habitat home.

A special Ribbon Cutting and Ceremony will honor the dedicated volunteers, sponsors, and partners who make our mission possible. Guests will enjoy food, vendors, hot cocoa, and fellowship. You'll have the opportunity to hear from and meet our 100th Habitat Family Partner, hear from inspiring community leaders, and witness the impact Edisto Habitat is making across Orangeburg and the surrounding areas. The ceremony and ribbon cutting will begin promptly at 10:00 am.

Volunteer activities and lunch will follow the ceremony (participation is optional).
Volunteers are encouraged to register online by Monday, February 9.
Guests only attending the celebration are asked to RSVP by Wednesday, February 11.

In Support of Edisto Habitat for Humanity
Edisto Habitat for Humanity believes that everyone should have a safe, healthy, and affordable place to call home.

We work with families to build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities. Our purpose is to bring people together to build homes, foster community, and create opportunities for growth.

We partner with volunteers, donors, local businesses, corporations, sponsors, faith-based communities, partner organizations, in-kind donors, educational institutions, foundations, and grant providers to build the capacity to address the substandard housing conditions that many people in our community face.

Everyone deserves a home.
Edisto Habitat for Humanity's Homeownership Program is for low-to-moderate-income families who cannot qualify for a conventional home loan. Families accepted into the program must earn hundreds of hours of "sweat equity" by building the homes of other Habitat Partner Families. Once the home is complete, Edisto Habitat for Humanity sells them to the Habitat Family Partner at a zero to low interest mortgage. The homes we build are not just simple and decent but also highly affordable, thanks to our donors, volunteers, and interest-free mortgages.
